Like to live longer? Eat some nuts.
In one of the largest studies ever undertaken into the impact of nut consumption on longevity and health, researchers found that eating a handful of nuts every day reduces the chance of dying of any cause by 20% over a 30-year period, according to Harvard News.
The study also found that nut eaters are slimmer than non-nut eaters, and enjoy a 29% reduction in death from heard disease. They are also 11% less likely to die from cancer.
